Biography
In her role as manager of executive communications for UPS, Janet Stovall serves as primary speechwriter for the CEO and senior leadership, making her one of the few executive speechwriters of color in the FORTUNE 500. She is uniquely adept at developing diversity and inclusion messages – and helping leaders deliver them authentically. This was his first encounter with racism at age ten. Pursuit of an answer led this career performing musician on a surreal journey stemming from a chance encounter with a man who turned out to be a member of the Ku Klux Klan. As the daughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Naomi Tutu struggled to find her own place in the world. As a human rights advocate, she pulls from her personal challenges of growing up black and female in apartheid South Africa.
