Biography

Standout hockey television analyst Jennifer Botterill is one of Canada’s most successful athletes. A 14-year member of the Canadian Women’s Hockey Team, Botterill is a 3x Olympic gold medalist and an Olympic silver medalist. She played a key role on the Vancouver 2010 team by assisting on the gold medal winning goal. Botterill is also a 5x World Champion and was twice named the most valuable player at the World Championship tournaments. A graduate of Harvard University, she is the only 2x winner of the Patty Kazmaier award – given to the top player in women’s college hockey. Today, Botterill can be seen as a studio analyst for Hockey Night in Canada on Sportsnet and as a studio and game analyst for NHL on TNT games. During her career, she has worked with TSN, Sportsnet, and CBC in various roles covering Hockey Canada, the Winter Olympics and the NHL. In 2020, Botterill was an in-studio analyst for NBC’s historic first all-women’s broadcast team.
