Biography
Warren Brown is the owner of the Washington, DC-based Countertop Productions, Inc. CakeLove and the former host of the Food Network's Sugar Rush, Warren Brown is an entrepreneurial icon. Taking an unconventional career path, he left his job as an attorney to pursue his passion - baking cakes. Warren founded his first bakery, CakeLove, in 2002 and fell in love with a relentless pursuit of perfecting his recipe for success. He has set an example of innovation and the need for change, in order to grow business. In 2012, he recognized the years of erosion from competition and a difficult economic climate; and after much research and development, he realized his next product; cake in a jar, followed by a healthy snack line, Spark Bites (soon to be released). After some time, Warren came to realize the change of his business model, thus the growth of his Cake in a Jar line; he decided to quietly close all CakeLove retail stores. Cake in a jar has moved into stores like Walmart, WholeFoods and enjoys a seat on Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia flights. His cake in a jar is packaged under two different brands CakeLove and Don’t Forget Cake! He is the author of four cookbooks in which he reveals his baking secrets and time saving tips in the kitchen.
